PEZ Dispensers

Pez dispensers are one of the most affordable of all collectables. They've been in production since the 1940's and cover a huge variety of themes. The dispenser consists of a coloured stem, which holds the sweets and a flip lid, which pushes a sweet out of the dispenser. On the stem, there is a letter, which tels you which country it was made in and a patent number, which helps to date it. Some flip tops have been in production for years, while others are retired and some are preseted in a new version over time. See Chewbacca in the Star Wars section below for an example.
